My approach
to painting and design is the result from my experiences growing
up in Southern California in the last half of the 20th century.
Catholic school, Saturday matinees, little miracles, television,
communists, vatos, riots, surfers, the draft, drugs, love, marriage
and children. All mixed in a 3,000 year old family stew of Southern
Colorado Indians, Spanish conquistadores, Vikings, farmers and Johnny
Appleseed. This diverse group of genes finally got together in Los
Angeles in 1945, where they produced me and my eight brothers and sisters. Enjoy
