I really started out painting something completely different. The rough sketch looked good but once color was applied fell flat. Sometimes you can't plan everything the way you want, and sometimes three left turns end
up a right. I like the loneliness of the situation - just some of God's little creatures trying to survive in the middle of cold, windy ocean.
